WHAT'S THIS ABOUT

The short version

Copat does not sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.

We do share certain operational and analytics data with Medisomatech LLC, our parent affiliate, to coordinate across our companies. Under California law (CCPA / CPRA), this qualifies as "sharing" personal information for cross-context purposes. You have the right to opt out.

You also have the right to:

Know what personal information we have about you and how we use it
Delete personal information we have about you (subject to legal retention exceptions)
Correct inaccurate information we have about you
Limit how we use sensitive personal information
Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

Our process

You submit your request. We receive it instantly and assign it a reference ID for tracking.
We verify your identity. If your request involves account data, we'll send a verification email or ask security questions. This protects your data from impostor requests.
We process the request. For "opt out of sharing," that takes effect immediately (within 15 business days as required by law, usually faster). For "access" or "delete," we compile or remove the data in question.
We confirm completion. You'll receive an email confirming what was done, what was provided, or what couldn't be done (and why — usually a legal retention obligation).

If your request is denied or only partially fulfilled, you'll get a written explanation. You can appeal by replying to our response or emailing [email protected] directly.
